PBS.org home page prototypes

The design of the PBS.org home page had gone largely unchanged for the three years leading up to this project

In the first prototype, I introduced a visual hierarchy and added new features, like the local TV grid. I made it more of a wireframe than a polished visual to keep group discussions away from aesthetics.

After getting station leadership to focus on content and strategy, I was able to start addressing some visual issues in the second prototype without sidetracking the conversation. I also snuck one of the more contentious issues onto this page: advertising.

Last prototype shows further revisions based on small-group reviews at stations across the U.S.
